# My Claude Code Aliases
## Your Alias
## zclaude (Windows PowerShell)
```bash
alias h="claude --model claude-haiku-4-5-20251001"
Launches Claude with the Z.ai API endpoint and custom model settings.
```powershell
function zclaude {
$env:ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN="your-api-key"
$env:ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL="https://api.z.ai/api/anthropic"
$env:API_TIMEOUT_MS="3000000"
$env:ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_OPUS_MODEL="GLM-5"
$env:ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_SONNET_MODEL="GLM-5"
$env:ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_HAIKU_MODEL="GLM-5"
claude
}
```
Type `h` to start Claude with the fast Haiku model - great for quick tasks where speed matters.
## How to Install
1. Open your shell config:
```bash
open ~/.zshrc
1. Open your PowerShell profile:
```powershell
notepad $PROFILE
```
If the file doesn't exist, create it first:
```powershell
New-Item -Path $PROFILE -ItemType File -Force
```
2. Add this line at the bottom:
```bash
alias h="claude --model claude-haiku-4-5-20251001"
2. Paste the function above at the bottom of the file and save.
3. Reload your profile:
```powershell
. $PROFILE
```
3. Save the file and reload:
```bash
source ~/.zshrc
```
4. Test it - type `zclaude` in any PowerShell window.
4. Test it - just type `h` in any directory to start Claude with Haiku.
## Notes
## When to Use Haiku
- Quick questions and lookups
- Simple file edits
- Code formatting or renaming
- Tasks where speed matters more than depth
- Exploratory work before diving deep
- Environment variables set this way are scoped to the current session only - they won't leak to other terminals.
- To also load your Mermaid diagrams, extend the function:
```powershell
function zclaude {
$env:ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN="your-api-key"
$env:ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL="https://api.z.ai/api/anthropic"
$env:API_TIMEOUT_MS="3000000"
$env:ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_OPUS_MODEL="GLM-5"
$env:ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_SONNET_MODEL="GLM-5"
$env:ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_HAIKU_MODEL="GLM-5"
$diagrams = Get-Content .ai\diagrams\*.md -Raw -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
if ($diagrams) {
claude --append-system-prompt $diagrams
} else {
claude
}
}
```
## Other Useful Aliases (Optional)
```bash
# Skip permission prompts (use with caution)
alias x="claude --dangerously-skip-permissions"
```powershell
# Skip permission prompts
function x { claude --dangerously-skip-permissions }
# Load architecture diagrams at startup
alias cdi="claude --append-system-prompt \"\$(cat .ai/diagrams/*.md)\""
# Fast Haiku model
function h { claude --model claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 }
# Combo: Haiku + skip permissions
alias xh="claude --model claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 --dangerously-skip-permissions"
# Combo: Haiku + diagrams
alias hdi="claude --model claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 --append-system-prompt \"\$(cat .ai/diagrams/*.md)\""
# Load diagrams
function cdi {
$diagrams = Get-Content .ai\diagrams\*.md -Raw
claude --append-system-prompt $diagrams
}
```
## When to Use Each
| Alias | Use When |
|-------|----------|
| `h` | Quick questions, simple tasks |
| `x` | You trust Claude and want no prompts |
| `cdi` | Starting work on a documented project |
| `xh` | Fast + no prompts |
| `hdi` | Fast + full context |
